DIY Solar Energy Success

February 4, 2011

With sun and wind being such an abundant resource, especially in our part of the world, it is truly surprising that more people do not take the opportunity to go off grid and begin generating their own energy.

A few months back, we got theE4E DIY Solar and Wind Energy Kit, and it has made a massive difference e, by cutting our electricity bill by almost 80%!

We run a medium sized guest farm in the eastern cape of South Africa, and were looking around for alternative energy solutions. Not just in order to cut costs, although this was the biggest motivation, but also to be independent from a deteriorating electricity grid infrastructure, which does at times result in blackouts, which in turn affected the bottom line of our business.

Admittedly, at first we were skeptical, as there are so many “questionable” products available out there.

The amazing thing with thisDIY energy kit is that it can be downloaded immediately, no matter where you are. It contains a step by step DVD series to take you through all the key steps. Detailed schematics and blueprints, energy calculator and much more.

As we are not the best mechanically inclined people around J, the concern also was how could we, with limited technical knowledge build our own energy system.

Well, we were pleasantly surprised, as this Diy Energy Kit is designed and set up in such a way that a novice will be able to follow and understand the steps easily.

Here is the best part…… The kit details the components you require, and these can be sourced from your local hardware store! Yes you heard right, we got all the required components for our solar panel system and wind turbine from our local hardware store.

The entire set up costs a tiny fraction of the price compared to having solar panels and related systems installed, literally saving you thousands!!!

When you get your diy energy kit, you own the rights to it…. This made one of our partners think ahead…. And he has now started a neat little side business, building and designing solar panels, solar power system and wind turbines for others in the community, generating a nice little profit for him.

You simply cannot go wrong…. This kit made a huge difference to us. It’s professionally set up, detailed and allows a novice to build his or her own solar or wind energy system without extensive technical knowledge. This kit has made a difference to thousands across the world and saved us and other people a lot of money.

Whether for residential, business, rural or in a city….generating your own electricity is a reality and easier and a lot cheaper than you think

On Friday we all got together to watch the Blue Bulls vs. Cheetah's Super 14 match, played in Bloemfontein. I could not believe my eyes' when I saw the stadium had a power failure in the heat of the game!

One of the first Super 14 matches, a global audience, a few months away from the soccer world cup, and one of our stadiums is plunged into darkness during an international match. Not a good picture....

I am, and have been very positive about the World Cup here in South Africa, always pushing ...

Energie Besparing - Vervardig jou eie Son en Windkrag Stelsel

February 11, 2010

South African Electricity Crisis...

February 8, 2010
Having just moved to a new house,I am unfortunate to have to deal with a number of the normal issues we all deal with when it comes to transfering accounts etc. On of these is the power bill, which has now almost doubled,in comparison to my last house. Not because I am using more electricty, because the property is apparently bigger! Off course the 35% price increase is also to blame. It becomes real when it starts hitting your pocket.

Needless to say though, once I have my DIY solar power sys...

Carte Blanche is one of the best investigative journalist programs on TV today. Their shows always show the truth and investigate key topics and current events.
